Do you think culture and environment may play a role in understanding the brain? Would an Indian(e.g.) approach be different?

Comments

I don't work in India

Culture may have had some bearing in the early stages of research when we didn't know anything about neurosciences. At that time, the formulation of theories and assumption could be driven by cultural backgrounds.
But today, I would assume that we know enough as starting point and the culture and background shold have no bearing on the research.
But then my understanding in this area is too limited to meaningfully assess.
